I'm Tired of Winter
For some reason, it seems like this winter has lasted forever. I'm tired of the cold. I'm tired of the snow. I'm tired of having to wear layers when I ride my bike.
I might have a job interview soon. Went to a temp agency a few weeks ago and they told me about this job. The woman at the agency said I might be a good fit. They hadn't called me to talk about it and I wondered if I should have called them. Saturday, I sent a resume to an advertising agency that’s located in the building where Joey works.
Just yesterday, Joey asked about the temp agency job. “Whatever happened with that job? Why don’t you call them?”
I told him I’d do it today, but when I checked my voice mail this morning, there was a message from someone at the agency telling me about the job and asking me to call her back. She said she’d like to present me her client. It seems like an interesting job, but I suppose I’ll find out.
I suppose we all find out…eventually.
