It Just Never Gets Better
Brother and Sister called a couple of days ago to tell me that our father is now heavily in to cocaine. They received an anonymous phone call telling them to be careful that nothing happens to the house or our father as he is deep into it.
Brother wanted to confront father with this information over lunch, but father refused, as he was going to trade-in his car for a new one. The night before, he apparently got into another accident, damaging the headlight. He went to get the light fixed, and promptly went to get a new car.
"Do you realize he's probably doing this because he damaged something...or someone?" I asked.
"HOLY CRAP! No. I never thought of that," brother replied. He told sister, who got even madder than she already was with the whole situation.
Father needs to be put away for a while or needs a serious ass kicking or both.
